Tonka Bakari and Tumelo Maziko, the two main characters from Planet Wonky.
They are turned from human children aged 12 into creatures after reading out magic in their Aunties book in the year 1999 in Tanzania. They shot forward into the future to Planet Wonky and this is where the adventures begin.

Tumelo the little bug is from off cuts from the 'incredible lady of colour' Sue Kreizman, check her out! And Tonka is made from unwanted Vintage clothing given to me in Madrid to make toys for a shop there in Tribunal now named '3 Cool Cats Vintage'
There is very slight marking on Tumelo the bug white fabric.
Thiis is all I have left of these fabrics and the toys here are made with the same as the toys in the animations so a truly unique special edition.
Made with cotton, polycotton and stuffed with organic Kapok.
Not suitable for children under 3 due to the beaded eyes.
